Kids Place (Sunday Mornings at Eastside)
Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
Kids Place is somewhere children can come have fun with other kids, and get engaged in their faith. We understand that children are a gift from the Lord, and we have the privilege of meeting, teaching, and learning alongside your children, as we strive to help deepen their relationship with Jesus.
The children’s relationship with Jesus is our number one priority, and we seek to facilitate growth through singing, crafts, biblical teaching, and service in the church. Each classroom is staffed with volunteers who are excited about serving Jesus and seeing your children grow in the Lord. We strive to show children what it means to follow Jesus, and how to experience the incredible joy that only following the Lord can bring.
First Service at 9:15 am
There is no Kid's Place during the first service at this time.
Second Service @ 11 am
We have a fully furnished nursery available for parents to use during the 11:00 am service. The Toddler Room is available for children aged 18 months to 3 years, and is filled with toys, and fun activities for kids. Both the Nursery and the Toddler Room are supervised by adult volunteers. The nursery and toddler room are closed at this time. We hope to be able to open them soon!
The Preschool Room is a place for children aged 3 – 4 to come and learn about God through crafts, singing, and games.
Children in Kindergarten – Grade 5 are split into one of three classrooms, Yellow, Green and Orange. In these classrooms, we encourage children to grow in and pursue a personal relationship with Jesus. We aim to bring children into a deeper understanding of following and loving God, by teaching them foundational truths about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Children are also equipped and encouraged to live out and share their faith in the world outside the church.
